The Statue of Liberty is one of the treasured monuments in New York. It is a sculpture that represents what New York stands for. Just like the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty is also a representation of the American culture. Simply put, the Statue of Liberty is one of the landmarks that stands tall in America and represents American freedom.

The Statue of Liberty, which is found in Long Island in the New York Harbor, represents the Roman goddess of freedom Liberta. The sculpture also holds a torch and a tablet which represents freedom and the law. There is so much to see and do here that it makes a perfect NY day trip.
