Located in Philadelphia's West Fairmount Park, this beautiful and tranquil Japanese house and garden is a fascinating look at traditional Japanese architecture, paintings and gardening. The grounds are made up of a 17th century styled walled garden, a waterfall, tea garden, koi pond, sakura pavilion and more that will give visitors an idea of the Japanese idea of beauty in simplicity.

Special Japanese cultural events take place regularly throughout the year including cherry blossom viewing, art installations, tea ceremonies and much more! These unique gardens in Philadelphia are open April through October.
