Taste of Rustic Italy!

Gisarole Restaurant, in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, is an interesting update on the traditional Italian Restaurant. While it offers classic dishes, and authentic Italian fare, it does not limit itself merely to a menu of pasta or tomato sauce. What it does have is a menu designed around the freshness and availability of seasonal ingredients, based on the cuisine of rustic Italy- the Polpette di Agnello in Spring, the Mortadella con Robiola in Fall.
