Cliveden

See Historic Furnishings and Decorations from the 18th Century!

One of the most sumptuous historic homes Philadelphia can offer, Cliveden dates back to the mid 1700s and is a great example of Georgian Colonial architecture. Stop by the carriage house first where you can watch an orientation video, see an exhibition about the history of the house and join an interpretive tour.

Tours through the house are available with experienced guides sharing fascinating information about the house's history and that of the people who lived there. Cliveden has been designated as a National Historic Landmark. Open Thursday through Sunday from 12 to 4pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children and students.
