A Cozy Vegan Spot in Philly!

Grindcore House might be the most deceptive name in the admittedly somewhat limited strictly-vegan-metro-Philly-neighborhood-cafe scene. Forget what you're picturing; it's warm and friendly, well-lit, and extremely pleasant. The fare speaks for itself: large-portions, fair prices, the best of vegan cuisine. Cold brewed iced coffee in summer, strong, hot coffee in winter. A perfect place to relax with a friend or a book.

Well, maybe it's not all that deceptive. Sure there's death rock blasting in the kitchen, but who cares? The cafe itself is quiet and cozy. Do the owners host a rolling calendar of anarchist events? Yes, but these anarchists give you cookies. How bad could they be?
