Brooklyn's Answer to Central Park

 Manhattan may have Central Park, but Brooklyn can be just as proud of its Prospect Park. After all, it was designed by the same landscape architects who created Central Park. Home to a nearly one-mile-long meadow, Brooklyn's only freshwater lake and forest, and a zoo with almost 400 animals, this urban haven definitely earns a spot as one of the top 25 attractions in New York!

Prospect Park is open at all hours every day except 1 am to 5 am. Some of its attractions have their own schedules of operation though. Visit the park's website for details.
