A three-story exhibit hall, the Wagner Free Institute of Science Museum houses a variety of historic specimens displayed in glass cabinets.  This Victorian science museum presents all types of natural history specimens, including mounted mammals and birds, rocks and minerals, fossils, insects, shells, dinosaur bones, and a saber-toothed tiger.  Originally founded in order to teach science, the specimens are arranged in a way that allow for study.
