Great Horseback Riding Lessons in PA for All Levels!

The mission of Northwestern Stables is to provide lessons to people of all ages, incomes, backgrounds, and abilities.  All classes are on a first come first serve basis.  The instructors specialize in English riding emphasizing appropriate movement of each horse, rider positioning, and jumping over cross rails and vertical fences up to 3 feet in height. 

Children ages 8-19 can join the 4H Equine Club in which they'll participate in projects about horsemanship, barn service, and community service.  You can also enroll your kids in Northwestern's great summer camp, where they're assigned to groups based on their riding levels.

Summer Camp, Horse Boarding and Riding Lessons in Philadelphia!

These stables, located in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park have been offering horse boarding and riding lessons since 1929. Northwestern Stables offers lessons for children 8 years old and up through adults. Group lessons are offered year round and are typically one hour long once week.

Whether you are a beginner just learning to ride, or a more advanced student who wishes to learn something new, you'll find the expert trainers and fantastic horses at Northwestern Stables will give you a wonderful riding experience. Philadelphia horseback riding lessons are both fun and a great lesson in responsibility as you learn how to care for your horse.
