The Best Place to go White Water Rafting in PA!

Visit the Lehigh River Gorge in the scenic Jim Thorpe, PA!  This part of the Pocono Mountains is home to great whitewater rafting, easy family rafting trips, exciting whitewater kayaking, and some of the best mountain biking around.  Whether you want kayaking lessons, Lehigh River rafting trips, or rail-trail bike rides, Jim Thorpe River Adventures is the place to go.

The rafting trips run through Lehigh Gorge State Park, one of the gems of the Pennsylvania State Park.  Your experienced river guides will give you and your group a River Briefing.  You will be shown how to handle your raft, and the right way to paddle through the rapids of the Lehigh River.  Your guides escort your group of rafts down the river.  Your trip will include a raft, paddles, personal flotation device, waterproof lunch containers, and tons of fun.  After your trip, take advantage of hot showers, heated indoor changing areas, shady picnic grounds, and a free cookout on the weekends.  The Lehigh River Gorge rafting trips begin in late March and April, and rafting continues every single weekend through October.
