One of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, the Andy Warhol Museum celebrates the works of the late, great Pittsburgh native.  Warhol had a thriving career in New York City as a commercial artist, later becoming one of the most successful illustrators of the 1950's and winning numerous awards.  The spacious galleries display over 8,000 of the prolific artist's great works including never-before-seen art from his collection.  You will find paintings, drawings, photographs, prints, and various documents on the artist's life.  Warhol's eclectic film and video work is also presented on a daily basis.  Take in special presentations which include in-person appearances by visiting filmmakers and other artists.  This museum is a treat for Warhol enthusiasts and avid pop art followers everywhere!
