Erie Land Light - Pennsylvania Lighthouses

Visit the First US Lighthouse on the Great Lakes!

Also known as the Old Presque Isle Light, Erie Land Light is located in Lighthouse Park and is open to visitors. Originally buit in 1818, this PA lighthouse was the first US lighthouse built on the Great Lakes. Deactivated in 1880, the lighthouse has gone through a series of re-activations and deactivations as well as many changes, replacements and restorations.

 

The current lighthouse features a copper replica of the original lantern room which visitors can explore. This Pennsylvania lighthouse is listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

A Lighthouse in Philly at the Sedgeley Club!

Located on the shores of Schuylkill River, Turtle Rock Lighthouse is Philadelphia's only operating lighthouse.  It is used as both a historic landmark and a club that hosts meetings, special events and social functions.  Enjoy your next event inside the Sedgeley Club's beautiful clubhouse with the beautiful view of Turtle Rock Lighthouse and the Schuylkill River.

Built in 1887, Turtle Rock Lighthouse provided safety for Philadelphia's thriving steamboat trade and maritime activities.  Come check out this beautiful Philadelphia lighthouse, and contact the Sedgeley Club about holding your next event or party at Turtle Rock Lighthouse.

Welcome to the Lighthouse Christian Center a recreational plus religious lighthouse in Pennsylvania. The Lighthouse is open on Sunday and Tuesday from 11 am onwards and on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm.

 

Enjoy free gifts, inspirational stories and quotes along with worshiping to your heart's content. Bring your loved ones and children along with you as this is also a social setup to worship, as well as have fun for everyone out there. It's time for you to share what you have with the community and also listen to what others have to say about themselves.
